Frequently asked Questions
FAQs for line marking & crack sealing
If you have some questions about repairing your surfaces or wrapping up a new project, check out the Q&As below. Or get in touch with our team, who are always happy to help.
Ready to get started?
Can line marking be done on wet or cold surfaces?
No. Line marking should not be done on wet or cold surfaces. Wet surfaces will cause the paint to peel away or wash away. And cold temperatures can affect the curing process.
We recommend dry, warm conditions for the best results. We can advise on the best time to complete the work based on the site, the weather and when the surfacing work was completed to make sure you get the best results for your line marking.
How long after the line marking is completed before we can walk or drive on the surface?
Road marking paint typically dries and can be walked on after about four hours and can handle vehicle traffic after about six. Of course, the time it takes for any paint to drive depends on the weather conditions and site as well.
We’ll work with you to get the work done as quickly as possible and can advise when it will be safe to reopen.
Can I add line marking to an existing asphalt job?
Yes. We offer end-to-end surfacing solutions, and our team of specialists can handle all parts of your surfacing work in house.
Do you seal cracks in existing surfaces?
Absolutely. Our crack sealing services are available either as a standalone service – if you need repairs done for example – or as an add-on service to other surfacing work you’re completing.
